COLUMBUS ó Mamie Lou Wilson Summerville, 79, died Feb. 8, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Zion Gate M.B. Church of Columbus, with James A. Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 12-6 p.m. today, at Carterís Funeral Services of Columbus. Carterís Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Summerville was born April 30, 1940, in Columbus, to the late Hosie Wilson and Cornelious Wilson. She was formerly employed as an inspector for Johnston Tombigbee Furniture Company and a member of Zion Gate M.B. Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kinley Summerville; and siblings, Lucy Talley, Louise Gray and Jerrie Brown. She is survived by her children, Pamela Colvin, Tyrone Wilson, Jerome Wilson and Dwight Wilson all of Columbus, Valerie Edwards of College Park, Georgia, Kinley Wilson of Stockbridge, Georgia and Matilda Parrish of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; siblings, Mary B. Braham of College Park,Georgia, Mary D. Lewis and Queen Wilson of Columbus, and Nathaniel Wilson of Crawford; 22 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
