BEAVERTON, Ala. — Annette Weeks Otts, 81, died Sept. 6, 2019, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with John Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow at Crews Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Otts was born May 22, 1938, in Lamar County, to the late John Paul Weeks and Anna Lee Erwin. She served as president of the Birmingham Archaeological Society and as a local historian, She was a member of the Lamar County Genealogical Society and Sulligent First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Otts; sister, Barbara June Brookshire; and one grandchild. She is survived by her son, Jerry Paul Otts of Moody; daughter, Angela Snow of Morris; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
