COLUMBUS — Harold Youngblood, 79, died Aug. 17, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lowndes Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial will follow at Tabernacle Cemetery in Ethelsville, Alabama. Visitation is today from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Youngblood was born Nov. 22, 1939, in Liberty, Alabama, to the late Thomas Hill and Erlene Cook Youngblood. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus and served in the National Guard. Harold was formerly employed with Southern Airways, General Tire and was an insurance agent with Allstate for over 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Dowdle Youngblood of Columbus; sons, Tom Youngblood of St. Petersberg, Florida, Robert Youngblood of Tupelo; daughter,Allison Polomsky of St. Mary’s County, Maryland; brother, Ralph Youngblood Sr. of Columbus; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brad Lytle, Chris Lytle, Bryan Spruill, Ralph Youngblood III, Matthew Youngblood, Neal Wilkerson and Seth Wilkerson.
