ABERDEEN — Aubrey Lavern Red, 70, died Feb. 14, 2019, at his residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Fowlkes and Bobby Price officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Red was born Aug. 3, 1948, in Arkabutla, to the late Herbert Ray Red and Mary Floyd Davis Red. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the E5 Class and Vietnam War. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of American and was formerly employed in the maintenance department with Pioneer Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Chaffin Red of Aberdeen; daughter, Teri Dobbs of Tupelo; sons, Tracy Red of Columbus and Travis Red of Okolona; one sister; four brothers; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
