COLUMBUS — Kemetha Darcell Richardson, 59, died Dec. 14, 2018, at Grand Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Christian Baptist Church with Dr. Steven James officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Richardson was born July 26, 1959, in Starkville, to the late Tannie James and Annie Louise Tate. She was a member of United Christian M.B. Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Takey’ta Gore; and siblings, James C. Tate, Craig James and Leah Sue Bush. She is survived by her husband, Hubert T. Richardson of Columbus; children, Quanesha Richardson, Jermall Tate and Marcus Baldwin, all of Columbus, Crystal Brown and Latasha Easley, both of Atlanta, Georgia and Tyler Richardson of Tupelo; siblings, Leo M. Tate, Wendell S. Tate, Peggy Clark and Sheila Riley, all of Columbus, Lameko Young, Tannie James Jr., Sylvester Campbell, Vincent Allen and Jeffery Allen, all of Chicago, Illinois, Amy Barnes of Jackson and Rhonda James of Pennsylvania; and 14 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Louis Alexander, Orlando Smith, Robert Coleman, Michael Bush, Rick Mason and Willie Johnson.
