MABEN — Carolyn Jewel Wilson Dewberry, 79, died Feb. 16, 2018, at her residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Mathiston with Rev. Wade Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Welch Funeral Home. Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Dewberry was born to the late Hernand Wilson and Mildred Dalton Wilson. She was a retired cafeteria worker with Oktibbeha County Schools and member of First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harless Dewberry; brothers, Gene Wilson, John Wilson, Harold Wilson, William Wilson and Wayne Wilson; sister, Melba Andrews; and one grandchild. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Dewberry and Eddie Dewberry, both of Maben; one daughter, Lisa Swindol of Maben; one brother, Donnie Wilson of West Point; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
