WEST POINT — Minnie Ruth Alexander, 51, died May 11, 2009, at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point. Services are Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in West Point with the Rev. Carlos Orr officiating. Burial will follow at Gospel Temple Cemetery in West Point. Visitation is Saturday from 3-6 p.m. at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel in West Point. Ms. Alexander is survived by her daughters, Denise Alexander, Riconda Gathings and Alfreda Alexander, all of West Point; brother, Henry James Alexander of Pontiac, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
