Maxine Scalzo

WEST POINT — Maxine Hull Scalzo died Dec. 26, 2017, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Darian Duckworth officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Robinson Funeral Home. Mrs. Scalzo was born Aug. 8, 1927, to the late Gladys Butler and Mack Hull. She was a member of the Women’s Alter Society of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of West Point, the West Point Garden Club, a Brownie Scout leader and a Girl Scout leader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Scalzo. She is survived by her son, Mark Anthony Scalzo of Dallas; daughters, Janice Kisner of Oxford and Kathryne Wood of West Point; sister, Ernestine McGregor of Louisville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
