DETROIT, Ala. — Maudeen Hanson Webb, 89, died June 17, 2009, at Golden Living Nursing Home in Winfield. Services are Friday at 11 a.m. at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tommy Whaley officiating. Visitation is today from 6-8 p. m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Site Cemetery in Detroit, Ala. Ms. Webb was born Aug. 7, 1919, in Lauderdale County, Ala., to the late Thomas Jefferson Stark and Annie Bell McInnish Stark. She was married to the late Edgar Hanson and later to the late James Clarence Webb. Ms. Webb was a member of the Pleasant Site Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her eight brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Jean Flynn, of Sulligent, Ala.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
