REFORM, Ala. — Mary Evelyn Cooper Kelley, 87, died May 31, 2009, at her daughter’s residence in Moss Point. Services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform with the Revs. George Shaw and Ray Aldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Kelley was born March 30, 1922, in Lamar County, Ala., to the late Robert and Louella Fields Cooper. She worked for many years at Wolverine Cap Factory and Reala Factory in Reform. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Kelley; sister, Ava Lou Cooper Kelley; and brothers, Redus, Harwood and Heddie Cooper. She is survived by her daughters, Charlene Kelley Minor of Pascagoula and Diane Kelley Gibson of Ethelsville, Ala.; sons, Edsel Dewayne Kelley of Palmetto, Ala.; brother, Leon Cooper; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Darren Kelley, Eric Minor, Austin Killingsworth, Zach Adams, Greg Minor, Mickey Gurley, Alan Gibson and Jerry Banks.
