Mary Barham Foster, 62, of El Paso, TX passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, in El Paso, TX. Visitation for Mrs. Foster will be Friday, June 22, 2012, from 6 – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 10 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Rev. Ricky James officiating and Rev. John Barham assisting. Interment will be in Furnace Hill Cemetery, Vernon, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Foster was born December 21, 1949, in Isola, MS to the late Willie Lawrence and Maxine Walker Barham of Columbus, MS. She resided in El Paso, TX since 2000. Mrs. Foster enjoyed working with her roses, reading and being in her children and grandchildren’s company. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her brothers – Charles Barham and William L. Barham and her sister – Margie Diane Slay. Mrs. Foster is survived by her husband – Andy Foster, El Paso, TX; sons – Wayne (Dora) Durant and Ronnie (Angie) Durant, El Paso, TX; stepson – Justin Foster, El Paso, TX; six grandchildren – Zach Durant, Micky Durant, Patrick Durant, Dustin Durant, Jacob Durant, and Alyssa Durant; sisters – Betty (James) Godfrey, Columbus, MS, Patia (Ricky) James, Florence, MS, Brenda (Steve) Rae, Ethelsville, AL, Cynthia (Skip) McLaughlin, Columbus, MS, Kay (Vern) Condra, Lytle, TX; brother – John (Becky) Barham, Ethelsville, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Rodney Godfrey, John Barham, John Johnson, JJ Johnson, Ron Barham, and Ricky James, Jr. Memorials may be made to First Pentecostal Church of Florence, MS.s, Wayne Durant and Ronnie Durant; stepson, Justin Foster; sisters, Betty Godfrey and Cynthia McLaughlin, both of Columbus, Patia James of Florence, Brenda Rae of Ethelsville, Ala., and Kay Condra of Lytle, Texas; brother, John Barham of Ethelsville; and six grandchildren.
