Columbus – Mary Elizabeth Campbell, 83, died Dec. 111, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. A private family service will be held. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home and Crematory, College Street location is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Campbell was born Sept. 23, 1937,in Columbus, to the late David and Thelma Perkins Steger. She was formerly employed as a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Steve Allen Campbell. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Cambell, Sr.; children, Thelma Christine Kemp of Hamilton and Kenneth Campbell Jr. of Caledonia; sister, Linda Gerhart of Foley, Alabama; and three grandchildren.
