WEST POINT — Mary Lee Carr, 79, died Oct. 23, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul MB Church with the Rev. Eddie A. Longstreet officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam-Mhoon Valley Cemetery. Visitation is from 3-6 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Carr was born April 30, 1937, to the late Alex Shaffer and Estelle Pearson. She was employed as a cook at Dugan Memorial Nursing Home. She is survived by her son, Fluid Carr Jr. of West Point; daughter, Dianne Carr Walker of Shannon; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
