STARKVILLE – Martha Sue Sides York, 80, died March 3, 2021, at OCH Regional Medical Center of Starkville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Friendship Baptist Church, with Wade Stephens and Justin Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at McClelland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Welch Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. York was born to the late Raymond Eugene Sides and Mary Frances White Sides. She was formerly employed as a hairdresser.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Miller; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her children, Robin Miller of Starkville, Carla Miller of Columbus and Debbie Bailey of Columbus; brother, Raymond Sides Jr., six grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
