AMORY — Martha Wynell Payne Box Guyton, 75, died Oct. 7, 2012, at her residence. Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel with Clinton Worthey and Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Guyton was born Jan. 30, 1937, to the late Jesse Talmadge and Hattie Berryhill Payne. She was previously employed as a seamstress and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Elbert Box and Dewey Guyton; son, Butch Gray; brother, Douglas Payne; sisters, Sue Payne, Dorothy Earrey and Lavenia Reeves; and two grandsons. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa White of Smithville, Sara Kelly of Paintersville and Teresa Northington of Galveston, Texas; sons, Mike Gray of Nettleton and Frankie Box of Amory; sisters, Fay Hutcheson of Columbus and Lou Ann Martin of Nettleton; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
