MACON — Marjorie M. Williams, 93, died July 7, 2016, at Trinity Healthcare Center in Columbus. Graveside services are 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Longview. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Williams was born Jan. 1, 1923, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Rudolph O. and Clara D. Blalock Mantley. She graduated from Whitmer High School and the University of Toledo School of Pharmacy. She was formerly employed at Bethany’s Drug Store in Macon and was the former owner of Williams Drug Store. She was a member of the Macon Presbyterian Church. She was a member American Legion Auxiliary, Macon Pilot Club, Order of Eastern Star and the Mississippi Homemakers Volunteers. She is survived by her sons, James Williams of Birmingham, Alabama, John Williams of Apex, North Carolina, and Richard Williams of Nashville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
