Margreet Allbritton age 95 died Monday, November 30, 2020, at her residence in Steens. Services will be held Wednesday, December 02, 2020, at 11:00 AM at New Covenant Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Nix officiating, burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday one hour prior to service at the church. Mrs. Allbritton was born on Saturday, January 03, 1925, in Calhoun City, MS to the late William Henry and Callie Griffin Easley. She was a charter member of Steens Baptist Church and retired as after 16 years as a merchandising assistant at J.C. Penny. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Albritton, Sr.; her sons, Leroy Allbritton, Jr., Wayne Allbritton and Charles Leroy Allbritton; and her brother, William Kenneth Easley. Survivors include, daughters, Betty Tartt (Buddy) and Geraline Holliman (John); daughter- in-law, Donna Allbritton; grandchildren, Michael Reynolds, (Renee’), Darren Allbritton, (Kristy) and Jenna Mordecai, (Todd); great- grandchildren, Josh Reynolds, (Haley), Dakota Conner, (Chase), Kenton Allbritton, Ava Mordecai, Anna Mordecai, Kyler Allbritton and Jeremy Mordecai; great-great-grandchildren, Paisley Conner, Ivy Reynolds and Christian Luke Conner. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Younger, Layman Alexander, Wendale Malone, Randy Junkin, Tommy Garrett and Warren Conner Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Hilda Alexander, Vallie Gallop, Judy Malone, Lee Gallop, Carl Stewart, Brenda Hughes and Shelia Malone. The Allbritton family would like to thank Denise Sanders her special caregiver and Michelle McGill and Dawn Grace of Baptist Hospice for all their compassion during this time.
