Margie Lucille Walden, age 89, died April 13, 2009, at Trinity Healthcare Center. Services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Steve Lammons and Rev. Ralph Windle officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation was held at Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Walden was born on June 15, 1919, in Ethelsville, AL to the late W.A. and Minnie Jacobs Hammett. She was a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired seamstress at Seminole Manufacturing Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband – Clarence Walden, her son – Larry Houston Walden,three sisters and one brother. Mrs. Walden is survived by host of nieces and nephews. The pallbearers will be Charles Beasley, Chuck Beasley, Corey Beasley, Ray Crane and John Beard. The honorary pallbearers are Members of the Lillian Berry Sunday School Class at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Memorials can be made to Mt.
