MACON — Margaret White Lindley, 84, died Feb. 4, 2010, at Noxubee General Hospital. Services are Monday at 3 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. James Snowden and Allen Mapp officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery near Macon. Visitation is Monday from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Ms. Lindley was born June 12, 1925, in Kemper County, to the late Algie D. White and Lula Belle Key White Weems. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Macon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ancil Lofton Lindley Jr.; and one grandson. She is survived by her daughter, Rita L. Stewart of Macon; sons, Dr. Ancil L. Lindley III of Crestview, Fla., David B. Lindley of Starkville; brothers, Gaines D. White of Jackson, Bobby Weems of Marietta, Ga.; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
