VERNON, Ala. — Margaret Elizabeth Dollar, 85, died June 12, 2009, at her residence in Vernon. Services are today at 2 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home in Vernon with David Woods officiating. Burial will follow at the Vernon City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at Chandler Funeral Home. Mrs. Dollar was born Jan. 27, 1924, in Wadley, Ala., to the late Pansy and James P. Fuller. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, W.I. Dollar; son, Bill Dollar and one granddaughter. She is survived by her sons, Jim Dollar, of Vernon, Ala., and Ray Dollar and Roy Dollar, both of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; daughter, Carol Faulkner, of Vernon, Ala.; sister, Emma Clayton, of Birmingham, Ala., eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
