WEST POINT — Malvon J. Nolan, 76, died Nov. 5, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Sallee officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Mr. Nolan was born March 2, 1941, to the late Lorain Stagg and Malvon G. Nolan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was previously employed in commercial construction. He was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Nolan. He is survived by his sons, Jerry Nolan of West Point, Jimmy Nolan of West Point and Jonathan Nolan of Beaumont, Texas; brother, Tom Nolan of West Point; step-sisters, Tammy Austed and Teresa Lewis, both of California; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
