Lyndsi Marie Dulemba Hill, 21 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 at University Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 9:30 to 11 AM at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11 AM at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Kenny Johnson officiating and Bro. Mickey Dalrymple and Bro. Tommy Gillon assisting. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Lyndsi was born April 8, 1987 in Mobile, AL to the late Carol Tane Tucker Dulemba and Darrell Joseph Dulemba and a resident of Columbus, MS for the past eleven years. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Lyndsi graduated from Heritage Academy, Columbus, MS in 2005 and was a junior at Mississippi State University majoring in human sciences/human development and family studies. Lyndsi loved life and was a good friend to a lot of people. Her life and legacy will continue in her gift of life to others. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edward and Annie Dulemba of CT. Lyndsi is survived by her sister, Chelsey Laterra, Avon, CO; maternal grandparents, Doug and Hazel Hill, Columbus, MS; maternal great-grandmother, Pauline Cummins, Columbus, MS; aunts – Ceclia (Joel) Patterson, NC; Becky Honeycutt, Tupelo, MS; Susan Tucker, Columbus, MS; uncle, Glenn (Angela) Hill; her best “bud” and cousin, Meagan Hill, Columbus, MS; Barbara Dulemba, CT; along with cousins, Joel Patterson, II, NC; Travis Patterson, NC and Leslie Hayes, VA. Pallbearers will be Mike Hill, Glenn Vest, Glenn Windman, Billy Ellis, Richard Falls and Jerry Vest. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Lyndsi’s friends. Memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church Youth Building Fund, 127 Airline Rd., Columbus, MS 39702.
