COLUMBUS — Lucille Maria “Ree” Gordon, 65, died June 9, 2019, at her residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at West Lowndes High School, with the Rev. Joe Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at St. John M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation is from noon-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Gordon was born May 25, 1954, in Oktibbeha County, to the late Amzie Deloach and Claudine Williams. She was a member of St. John M.B. Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Pauline Rice, Mamie Deloach, Irene Brackett, Larry Deloach, W.T. Deloach, James Deloach, Leonard Deloach, Mary Deloach, Ruth Hart, Augusta Miller, Johnnie Deloach, Idella Bankhead and Josiephine Baker. She is survived by her husband, Johnny William Gordon; daughter, Courtney Martin of Columbus; brother, Robert Lee Deloach of Columbus; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Broderick Cockran, Andrew Sherrod, George Harris, Jerry Baker, Tony Deloach and Andrew Baker.
