BROOKSVILLE — Lorraine Joyce Unruh Unruh, 87, died Nov. 18, 2020, at Oakwood Manor. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Brook Haven Mennonite Church, with Galen Schmidt and Gladwin Koehn officiating. Burial followed in South Haven Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation was at the church. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Unruh was born June 28, 1933, in Gray County, Kansas, to the late Peter J. and Katie Irene Smith Unruh. She was formerly employed as a C.N.A. with Noxubee General Hospital and as a personal caregiver for the elderly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Unruh; an infant son and daughter; eight brothers; one sister; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children Paula Giesbrecht of Macon, Debra Ratzlaff of Guntersville, Alabama, Colleen Koehn of Macon and Anita Livesey of Bridgewater, Maine; siblings, Pete Unruh, Larry Unruh, Orma Giesbrecht and Fern Schmidt; 15 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
