GORDO, Ala. — Lorene Gregg Driver, 88, died March 20, 2009, at Northport Medical Center-DCH. Services are Monday at 11 a.m. at Kennie Hill Church of God with Bro. Ed Booth officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Gordo. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the church. Skeleton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Driver was born March 26, 1920, in Pickens County, Ala., to the late Will and Florence Pate Gregg. She was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church and a retired employee of XL Mfg. in the garment industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Waymon Driver; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Martha Rachel Noland of Reform, Ala., and Mary Nell Sutton of Gordo; sisters, Earline Smith of Gordo, and Lillie Pierce of Semmes, Ala.; brother, Robert Gregg of Northport, Ala.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
