ABERDEEN — Loraine Gunter Little, 89, died July 12, 2012, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen. Services were Saturday at 10 a.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with the Rev. John Maxey officiating. Burial followed in New Prospect Cemetery. Ms. Little was born June 6, 1923, in Akin, S.C., to the Irby Ryan Gunter and Pauline Woodard Gunter. She worked as a sales associate. She lived the past 12 years in Aberdeen and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Little. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lynn Little of Snellville, Ga.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
