COLUMBUS — Linda Marie Tate, 66, died Oct. 7, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Memorial Gardens, with Leroy Jones officiating. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tate was born Sept. 12, 1956, in Columbus, to Nettie Jones Dora and the late Otis Dora. She was formerly employed as a professional seamstress.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Ingram.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Robert Tate; son, Demerick Lagrone of Waldorf, Maryland; step-daughter, Kanesha Hodges; sisters, Mary Dora of Miami, Florida, Joyce Dora, Katherine Murray and Ruth Dora, all of Columbus; one grandchild; and one step-grandchild.
