COLUMBUS — Linda Fisher Jones, 51, died Aug. 31, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fourth Street M.B. Church with the Rev. Jimmy Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Springfield M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-6 p.m. Thursday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jones was born Nov. 24, 1966, in Columbus, to the late Jim Fisher and Sallie Jenkins Fisher. She was formerly employed with Hardee’s and Leigh Mall and was a member of Fourth Street M.B. Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Jones; and siblings, Bobby Lee Fisher, Johnny Fisher, John Fisher, Floyzell Jenkins and Harry J. Jenkins. She is survived by her children, Deangelo Fisher, Darmarcus Fisher, Donmantay Fisher, Davartex Fisher, Taketta Fisher and Taquetta Fisher, all of Columbus, and Deve-kio Fisher of West Point; siblings, Pauline Sims, Mary Lee, Vanessa Fisher, Tommy Fisher and Oscar Lee Fisher, all of Columbus, and Mary Ann Fisher of Memphis, Tennessee; and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gary Williams, Edward Lamon Williams, Timothy Bonner, Stanley Erby, Eric Erby, Willie Shepherd and George Davis.
