AMORY — Lillie Bess Thornton Marshall, 64, died March 6, 2010, at her residence. Service are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Reich officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery. Visitation is today 5-8 p.m. and will continue until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Marshall was born Aug. 20, 1945, in Slate Springs to the late Henry C. and Beverly Lorene Clemons Thornton. A resident of Amory for 27 years, she worked for Gilmore-Puckett for the past 14 years and was a member of the New Beginnings Baptist Church where she served as treasurer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Lillian Clemons, and Jim and Nannie McPhail. She is survived by her daughters, Audrey Gray, of Amory, and Rebecca Crump, of Lackey; brother, Mark Thornton, of Bigbee; sister, Sharron Daniels, of Amory; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Anthony Daniels, Tyler Daniels, Michael Daniels, Darron Thornton, Kevin Morris, and B.J. Morris. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Ray Clark, P.O.
