BROOKSVILLE — Lenny Ervin, 90, died March 28, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Jesus is the Door Pentecostal Church in Brooksville with the Rev. Leroy Horne officiating. Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery. Visitation is today from 2-5 p.m. at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Macon. Mr. Ervin was born Aug. 31, 1918, in Rosedale to the late John Smith and Lula Daily-Smith. He is survived by his sons, Richard Ervin Jr. of Columbus and James Willie Ervin of Brooksville; daughters, Barbara Jean Ervin of Cleveland, Ohio, Theresa Ricks, Catherine Ervin and Rosie Ervin, all of Itta Bena, Lenny Bell Ervin of Brooksville and Thephine Prince of Virginia Beach, Va. Pallbearers will be Derrick Dooley, Willie Lee Rice, Sammie Clemons, and Earlie, Andrew and Eddie Henley.
