DETROIT, Ala. — Kenneth Wade Knight, 64, died Nov. 10, 2012, at his residence. Services are today at 2 p.m. at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church with Tim Markham officiating. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Mr. Knight was born Feb. 21, 1948, to the late Leaman and Velma Lee Pickle Knight. He was a 1966 graduate of Sulligent High School. He was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church and the former owner and operator of Knight Trucking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Carolyn Chandler Knight. Survivors include his special friend, Carolyn Whitehead of Detroit; daughters, Renae Lamb and Amy Roberts, both of Detroit; sister, Glenda Kitchens of Vernon, Ala.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers are Malone Knight, Gary Knight, Dwight Knight, Brent Knight, Tim Otts and Chris Jackson.
