COLUMBUS — Julius Lee Wilson, 55, died Dec. 13, 2022.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Full Gospel Ministries, with Maxine Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Hill M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wilson was born Oct. 28, 1967, in Columbus, to Ruthie W. Jones Stewart and the late Bobby Lee Wilson. He was formerly employed as a supervisor for Logistic Comprehension and as an associate minister. He was a member of Full Gospel Ministries.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Shirlean Jones Hargrove and Tronda Cox.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Angel Swanigan Wilson; children, Lasharra Wilson Jenkins of St. Anna Texas, DeMarcus and James Swanigan, both of Columbus; siblings, Nico Conner and Samantha Conner, both of Columbus; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jamarcus Jones, DeAndre Bankhead, Marin Cockrell, Clydell Jones, Donald Bush, Lydell Jones and Patrick Harris.
