CEDAR BLUFF — Joy Durham Watson Kinard, 75, died March 1, 2019, in Cedar Bluff. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Spence officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Kinard was born Aug. 13, 1943, in Greenville, to the late Richard Parker and Agnes Irene Lott Durham. She was formerly employed as a surgical technician with Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle and attended Hebron Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jefferson Lee “Corkey” Watson and Glover Jack Kinard; and brother, Richard Edward “Rookie” Durham. She is survived by her daughters, Sherri Singh of Lyons, Colorado and Dana Hudgens of Millport, Alabama; son, Kent Watson of Cedar Bluff; stepdaughter, Sondra Cumberland of Brooksville; stepson, Richard Kinard of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Elizabeth “Cookie” Bell of Brandon; brother, Ronald Eilis “Turkey” Durham of Brooksville; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joshua Watson, Bryan Robert Watson, Baker Watson, Jake Hudgens, Luke Hudgens, Gary Hillhouse and Ronnie Durham.
