SULLIGENT, Ala. — Johnny Otts, 65, died July 17, 2016, at Generations of Vernon. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, at Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Kelvin Price officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Mr. Otts was born May 18, 1051, to the late Daniel L. and Emma Jean Knight Otts in Greenwood Springs. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was previously employed with John Deere in Moline, Illinois and as an engineer at Chouest Offshore Marine in Galliano, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Otts of Sulligent; brother, Jimmy Otts of Sulligent; sisters, Cheryl Wilson of SUlligent, Carolyn Wright of Amory and Connie Frye of Splunge.
