MACON — Johnny Cockrell, 55, died March 13, 2019, at his residence. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon with Algene T. Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove MBC Cemetery in Aliceville, Alabama. No public visitation will be held. Mr. Cockrell was born July 28, 1963, in Pickens County, Alabama, to Hattie Cockrell Jackson of Macon and the late James Jackson. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Thomas and George Cockrell, both of Macon.
