ABERDEEN – Joey Hutchins, 52, died Jan. 11, 2021, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home, with the Rev. Van Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hutchins was born March 8, 1968, in Monroe County, to Dot Nolen Wagnon and the late Richard Hutchins. He was a graduate of Jumpertown High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly employed as a satellite installer and was a member of Crossroads Methodist Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his half brother, John Hutchins; and stepfather, Arthur Wagnon. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Heather Bascomb Hutchins; children, Tyler Hutchins of Booneville and Anthony Shattuck of Aberdeen; siblings, David Hutchins of Aberdeen, Robert Wagnon of Teas, Becky Coker Grant of Aberdeen, Linda Wagnon Hubbard of Houston, Texas and Melissa Hutchins Bryant of Southaven; and one grandchild. Pallbearers will be Heath Mills, John Hall, Todd Weeks, Jamie Capps, Ernie Davis and Rick Kennedy.
