CRAWFORD — Joe Ree Malone, Sr., 83, died Aug. 7, 2012, at OCH Regional Medical Center. Services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Church with the Rev. Riley Forrest officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 1- 4 p.m. at West Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Rosie Bell Malone of Crawford; daughters, Hazel Wilford and Vonnie Jean Davis, both of Fort Myers, Fla., Juanita Wells of Flint, Mich., Mary Kay Thomas of Bourbonnis, Ill., Barbara Breed, Rosie Givens, Izella Brewer, Juanita Halbert and Brenda Gray, all of Crawford and Martha Faye Tate of Starkville; sons, Joe Ree Malone, Jr., and Bobby Jefferson, both of Crawford, Alfonzo Malone of San Jose, Calif., and Michael Malone of Kankakee, Ill.; brothers, Johnnie Malone of Crawford, Robert Malone, Aaron Malone and Appling Malone, all of Flint; sisters, Lillie Segar, Priscilla Green and Fannie Brooks, all of Kankakee, Sophia Allen and Jossie Redmond, both of Crawford; 38 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
