CRAWFORD — Joe Ree “Big Boone” Malone Jr., 66, died Jan. 2, 2018, in Crawford. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove MB Church of Crawford. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Crawford. Visitation will be today from 4-6 p.m. at West Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Starkville. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Malone of Crawford; daughters, Tracie Johnson of Memphis, Tennessee and Brandy Malone of Crawford; sons, Trenell Malone of Oswego, Illinois and Timothy Malone of Tupelo; sisters: Hazel Williford, Vonnie Jean Davis of Fort Myers, Florida, Juanita Wells of Flint, Michigan, Mary Kay Thomas of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Barbara Breed of Alexandria, Virginia, Rosie Givens of Duluth, Georgia, Izella Brewer, Quantina Robinson, Brenda Gray, all of Crawford and Martha Tate of Starkville; brothers, Michael Malone of Kankakee, Illinois, Alfonso Malone of Mercer, California and Bobby Jefferson of Crawford; and eight grandchildren.
