STARKVILLE — Joe Peter Lawrence, 81, died May 15, 2010, in Gary, Ind. Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at Austin Church of Christ Holiness with the Rev. Chester Mangum officiating. Burial will follow in Sessums Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1-6 p.m. at West Memorial Funeral Home in Starkville. He is survived by his children, Alberta Hendrix, Joe Willie, Keith and Patrick Lawrence, all of Starkville, Annie B. Crowder, of Gary, and Regina Wilson, of Crawford; brother, John Edward Lawrence, of Chicago; sister ,Annie Dell Lawrence of Cherokee, S.C.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
