HAMILTON, Ala. – Jimmy Dale Sullins, 74, died Dec. 1, 2020 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Services are 4 p.m. today at Landmark Church in Hamilton, Alabama. Burial will follow at the Cooper Cemetery. Pastor Mark Collier and Dustin Walters will officiate. Visitation was Saturday at the church. The family has requested no hugs or handshakes and for all in attendance to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent, Alabama, is entrusted with arrangements. Services will be live streamed via the funeral home’s Facebook page. Mr. Sullins was born Aug. 10, 1946, in Hamilton, Alabama, to the late James Causton Sullins and Mary Helen Morris Sullins. He worked as a machine operator for NTN Bower in Hamilton, Alabama. Jimmy was of the Freewill Baptist faith and enjoyed attending and serving in his church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Armstrong; and twin sons. He is survived by his daughters, Amy Hollis of Belmont, Jamie Sullins and Fiance Jamey Flanagan, both of Guin, Alabama; brothers, Buddy and Stevie Sullins, both of Hamilton, Alabama, and Billy Sullins of Winfield, Alabama; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Allen Walters, Roger Hall, Curtis Allen, Wade Hollis, Mike Walters and Danny Oliver.
