ABERDEEN — Jimmy Dee Lowe, 71, died March 24, 2022, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, at Hopewell M.B. Church, with Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 3-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lowe was born May 26, 1950, in Caledonia, to the late Thomas Lowe and Jimmie Troupe. He was formerly employed as Walmart Supercenter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Verner, Thomas T. Lowe and Willie Dell Lowe.
He is survived by his wife, Alvina Mosely; children, Demetrius Legrone of Racine, Wisconsin, Dwight Lowe of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Rodney Thomas of Tollison, Arizona and Ferlicia Lefrone of Aberdeen; siblings, Juanita Gholson of Columbus, Barabra Hollivay of Chicago, Illinois, Loretta Hollivay of Hamilton, Jimmy O. Lowe, Thomas Lowe, Donald Lowe, all of Caledonia, Annie G. Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia, Odell Lowe of Springfield, Illinois, Roy C. Lowe of Atlanta and Charles McMath of Jasper, Alabama; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
