AMORY — Jewel Graves, 90, died on Oct. 15, 2016, at her residence. Services are at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Christian Chapel Church of Christ with Marshall Eubanks, Jr. and Bobby Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral HOme is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Graves was born Feb. 22, 1926 to the later Trannie and Lila Thornton Ausborn. She was a graduate of Hatley High School. She was a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. She was formerly employed at United Technologies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Coy Ausborn; and two sisters, Loy West and Grace Carter. She is survived by two sons, Scott Graves and George Graves, both of Columbus; one daughter, Nina Spann of Hatley; one sister, Hazel Jean Glasscock of Ponca City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
