MASHPEE, Mass. — Jessie Elizenberry, 59, died April 15, 2009. Services were today at 11:30 a.m. at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home in Mashpee. Burial followed at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass. Mr. Elizenberry was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service. He was a member of various VFW Auxiliaries in southeastern Massachusetts and was currently post commander of the VFW in Bourne, Mass. He is survived by his wife, Zella Elizenberry; sons, Kedrick and Anthony Elizenberry; siblings, Sally Butler and Mary Hayden, both of Columbus, and Allen and Andy Elizenberry, both of Jackson; and his stepchildren and stepgrandchildren.
