MABEN — Jerry “Bugs” Wright Williams, passed away.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Center Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Welch Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williams was born on Oct. 23, 1939, to the late Alva and Josie Williams. He was a former business owner in Memphis, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Simpson Williams; and siblings, Mannon Edward Williams and Shirley White.
He is survived by his sons, Bart Williams of Starkville and Joe Williams of Bentonville, Arkansas; siblings, Joann Holliman, Dorothy Diaz, Alf Williams and Tommy Williams; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Eckhart, Robbie Gilland, Hunter Griffin, Hunter Johnson, Vince Tenhet and Andy Trice.
