Jerry Mitchell

COLUMBUS — Jerry E. Mitchell, 55, died June 20, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Word of Life Church. Visitation will follow until noon at the church. Associated Family Funeral Home of Tupelo is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Mitchell was born Aug. 29, 1966, in Mississippi, to the late Bill and Helen Tollison. He was formerly employed as a construction worker. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Greg Mitchell. 

He is survived by his brother, Billy Mitchell of Columbus; sisters, Sandra Craddock of Columbus and Glenda Knight of Ark; and step-son, Jonathan Ratliff of Starkville.
