JACKSON — Jean Eaves Parker, 79, died Aug. 18, 2022, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Graveside services are 2:30 p.m. today at Brooksville Cemetery in Brooksville. A public visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. today at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon.
Mrs. Parker was born Dec. 6, 1942, to the late Troy Neil Eaves and Martha Jane Smith Eaves of Brooksville. She graduated from Noxubee County High School and later attended Mississippi State University. She was formerly employed with the American Bosch facility in Columbus. She worked in real estate sales with Starkville Real Estate/Coldwell Banker and later REMAX in Jackson. She and her husband also opened and operated an “Express Personnel” franchise until their retirement. Jean was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Rex Parker; and brother, Larry Eaves.
She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Young of Jackson; son: Jim Parker of Tupelo; and four grandchildren.
