SULLIGENT, Ala. — Janie Marie Sizemore, 53, died Sept. 10, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center of Tupelo.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Otts Funeral Home, with Jason Clifton and Jeremy Glenn officiating. Burial will follow at Pope Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sizemore was born Feb. 25, 1968, in Vernon, Alabama, to the late James L. MacArthur “Mac” Hill and Rosa Nell Taylor. She was a graduate of Sulligent High School, Bevill State Community College, Northwest Shoals Community College and Alabama Fire College. She was formerly employed as an advanced EMT and president of the North Lamar Rescue Squad and a volunteer firefighter and captain with the Sulligent Volunteer Fire Department. She attended Sulligent Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Sizemore; children, Taylor Scott, John Trace Lee, Robin Cagle and Dustie Nethery, all of Sulligent; siblings, Johnny Wilson and Gloria Hood; and six grandchildren.
