WEST POINT — James Lee “Rick” Kendrick, 60, died Oct. 14, 2022, at his residence, in Laurel.
Services were at 11 a.m. Friday, at Northside Christian Church, with the Rev. Orlando R. Richmond Sr. officiating. Burial followed at West Point Memorial Gardens. Visitation was one hour prior to services at the church. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kendrick was born Aug. 28, 1962, in Clarksville, Tennessee, to the late James Perkins and Theresa Ann Holmes-Kendrick. He was formerly owner and operator of Rick’s Building and Remodeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christian R. Rankins; and siblings, Loretta Wilson and Chilita Brewer.
He is survived by his children, Karl McKeithen and Christopher Kendrick of Birmingham, Alabama, James Le’Johnathan Kendrick, Keith Davis, Kenneth Davis, and Yashia Davis of West Point, Latoshia Walls of Clarksville, and Chilita Kendrick of Starkville; siblings, Leverette Kendrick, Lonnell Kenrick, and Mary Cornelius of Clarksville; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
