COLUMBUS — James “Jimmy” White Adams, 72, died April 14, 2023, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Salem Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the cemetery. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Adams was born on May 16, 1950, in Macon, to the late Lemuel Stuart Adams Jr. and Ruth White Adams. He was a graduate of Noxubee High School. He attended Hinds Community College and East Mississippi Community College. He was formerly employed at Standard Oil and Weyerhaueser.
He is survived by his siblings, Lem Adams and Debra Jones, both of Columbus.
