JACKSON — J.C. Nash, 69, died March 21, 2019, in Ridgeland. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sandfield Cemetery. Visitation is from noon-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus. Carter’s Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Nash was born May 26, 1949, in Pickens County, Alabama, to the late Laura Bell Nash and Sam Frank Nash. He was a graduate of Rust College and formerly employed as a master carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Henry Nash, Johnny Nash, Mary Henley and Lynda Nash Bell. He is survived by his children, Orlandes Abrams of Columbus and Andria Nash of Pearl; siblings, Sam Frank Nash Jr., Lynn Nash, Bobbie McAfee, Ella Mae Taylor, Cora Hicks and Jean Nash; and five grandchildren.
